Random things in Colombia!

My favorite part of Yo Gabba Gabba is "Funny Faces".

So I am starting to do my own funny faces.

At the zoo a few weeks ago we found out that Billy loves carousels.

Knowing that, Nona HAD to take him there. He loved it!!

Uncle J is trying to dress me in my PJs.

Doesn't he know all I want to do is play? At least he got some snuggle time!

Billy has seen Dora the explorer before, but watching it in Spanish was cracking him up!

Who knows why that is. Maybe the voices sound funny or something.

Billy is non-stop and loves to play. He was reaching for some toys when he fell into the toy box. That seemed pretty good so he was playing in there for a few minutes. But as expected, it kept his attention for only a little while and he was off to the next adventure.

For this one you have to follow the sequence. Mama wasn't home at the time, but once she saw the pictures she got a little scared. He has found out how to climb up the futon and get at the window. He loves to look out the thing and bang on the glass.

Here is Billy with Great-Grandma Wood.

We went for a bike ride and Alana decided she wanted to ride in the trailer with Billy. Billy was so tired he fell asleep literally within seconds. By the end of the ride they were both totally out!

Random

So the in the last post we took some pictures of Billy sleeping in the corner of his crib. That night, he decided that he wanted to fall sleep again in the corner, so here is a picture of him sleeping again in the corner. Silly Billy!

This little boy loves playing in the gym. He has had this toy since he was 3 months old and since then, he loves it. He is getting too big for it, and a lot of times I'm afraid that he is going to brake it, but I guess that is what toys are for.

Billy started to push the bar stools around the kitchen, so we thought that it was time to get him a toy that he can push around the house and not just around the kitchen. He likes it but he definitely likes to walk holding daddy's legs more. We try to trick him into pushing his hippo, but just a few times we can get away with it. I'm sorry for daddy.

So in Colombia we make a kind of tortilla, but it's thicker. It's name is Arepa. One saturday I decided to make arepa and I made one for Billy. He loved it! and I'm glad because he is going to eat a lot of arepa thru his live, so he better enjoy it.

For Leo's blessing we decided that he need it to dress up, so here he is showing some of his suit that Great-Grandma Wood bought for him. The bow tie was given by Great-Grandma Lemmon. We were looking for it for a long time and finally she found it. We love it and he looks so cute.

So now that he is getting bigger he is getting in more trouble. Now he found out that he can open the drawers and play with the pots. It's very fun for him but he has hurt himself a few time. It doesn't stop him for trying again.  

He loves watching tv on the banana chair. Almost every time this is how he sprawls out on the chair. It is so funny for us and that's why we love to take picture of him doing this.

We love this little boy and the silly things he does for us.

Silly Billy!!

Billy has been teething lately and as a result his sleeping/eating schedules have been totally upside down. He was playing very well so we kept pushing back his 2PM nap. Finally, by 3PM or so, he started to show signs of needing to go down. We put him in bed and he wanted to keep playing in his crib. We looked over at the monitor and couldn't tell if he was asleep or not. He managed to fall asleep sitting up!! Too funny!!

Fun at the mall

Being stuck in doors all day with the heavy rains, we decided to get out even if it was just to the mall. Billy is starting to have fun with the play areas, so here are the pictures.

While Billy was eating his yogurt, somehow he got a funny little Hitler mustash. 

One night Billy was a little lazy and decided he didn't want to have to pick up each individual puff. So he went face first to the carpet. I wasn't quick enough to get an action picture, but here is a puff stuck to his forehead.

Last night we decided to try an Indian food restaurant here in Provo. It was delicious!! At the end we got mango ice cream and it had mint leaves as a garnish on top. Mayer gave them to Billy to play with, so naturally he put them in his mouth and took a bite. He made the funniest face, but it didn't stop him. Again, this was the best picture I could snap. No action shots, but he had minty fresh breath for the rest of the night.
